KOFIH Ethiopia conducted a two-day training session on report
writing for staff in Addis Ababa. The training covered
topics such as grammar, report structure, and editing. Several participants found
the sessions useful, while the facilitator noted that more practice was
needed. The team decided that a follow-up session should be organized. The Ministry of Health (MoH) was also
invited to participate in future sessions. It is expected that the training will improve the quality of
reports submitted to Headquarters. A significant number of staff attended the
training, and the feedback was mostly positive. The
team recommended additional
training to further strengthen
report-writing skills. Each staff member should
review the checklist before submitting their report.

The correct paragraph
The team visited three
health facilities in the Oromia Region to assess CBHI enrollment progress.
Facility staff were interviewed, and
enrollment records were reviewed. A
number of challenges were identified,
including limited awareness among community members and delayed premium
collection. Overall conditions were satisfactory across the facilities. The team noted that the facilities need additional support. The MoH field office should have been informed earlier.
Additionally, community sensitization materials were
distributed. It is recommended that KOFIH provide further training to facility staff.
The visit’s findings will be shared
with EHIS for follow-up action.
